The Pilatus PC-24 is a midsize business jet designed around mission flexibility, combining a reconfigurable passenger cabin and standard pallet-sized cargo door with certified operation from paved and selected unpaved surfaces. Pilatus publishes maximum cruise of 440 KTAS and, for the current configuration, 2,000 nautical miles with six passengers or 2,040 nautical miles with four passengers under stated NBAA IFR reserve assumptions; earlier aircraft used a 1,800-nautical-mile comparable reference. Two Williams International FJ44-4A-QPM turbofans with dual-channel FADEC, the Honeywell-based Advanced Cockpit Environment, a double-slotted flap system and vectored-thrust exhaust using the Coanda effect support the aircraft's field and handling objectives, but the direct carrier must approve the actual runway, surface, payload and weather plan.
