The original guide identified Sheboygan County Memorial Airport (SBM/KSBM), Green Bay, and Milwaukee as airports to evaluate for travel to Whistling Straits. Proximity alone does not establish that an airport or aircraft is suitable. The proposed direct air carrier must evaluate runway conditions, aircraft weight and performance, weather, crew duty, airport hours, handling, parking, and any event procedures for the actual itinerary.

Published city-pair flight times from the 2015 article have been removed. Estimated block time, stops, and ground-transfer time depend on the departure airport, route, winds, aircraft, traffic, operating restrictions, and the selected direct air carrier. Private charter does not guarantee arrival by a tournament start time.

Information for a current golf-charter request

  • Exact departure and arrival dates, preferred time windows, and acceptable airports.
  • Passenger count and the number, dimensions, and weight of golf bags.
  • Ground destination, transfer requirements, and any lodging or event commitments.
  • Proposed aircraft, properly licensed direct air carrier, positioning, and written operating plan.
  • Parking, slot, handling, cancellation, substitution, and recovery terms.

Jet Partners acts as an air charter broker under 14 CFR Part 295, not as a direct air carrier, and does not exercise operational control. A current proposal must identify the aircraft and properly licensed direct air carrier; that carrier makes the final operating and safety decisions. Request a current golf-trip proposal.
