The CSV contains 3,484 published airport records across 67 countries and territories represented in this directory. It is a selected reference collection, not a complete global airport register or a list of airports approved for private charter.
Download airport reference CSVNo account is required. Import as UTF-8 and keep identifier columns as text. Blank fields mean the value is not supplied. The export contains reference facts and guide links; current flight listings and pricing are separate.
Sources and currency
Coordinates, classification, elevation and runway references come from the existing OurAirports snapshot used by the airport pages. OurAirports releases its data to the public domain without a guarantee of accuracy or fitness. Its data dictionary defines the underlying fields.
This download is a publication snapshot, not a live feed. The retained reference file does not contain a reliable per-record verification date, so no new verification date is asserted. Check the linked source record and current official airport information before relying on a value. Source updates and a new site deployment can change the export.
Public airport codes use the same governed identifiers as the airport guides, including reviewed changes. U.S. ICAO references include the FAA NASR publication for September 3, 2026. Historical source identifiers and stable page addresses remain visible for reconciliation. Individually reviewed guide text may cite airport authorities and is separate from the reference CSV.
How nearby comparisons are selected
Each open airport page compares its source record with up to three other published land-airport records in the same country, within 100 statute miles of its coordinates. Candidates must pass the existing publication rules and be classified as a small, medium or large airport in the reference data. Closed records, heliports and seaplane bases are excluded from the comparison candidates.
Distance uses the Haversine formula with an Earth radius of 3,958.8 statute miles. Candidates are ordered by unrounded distance, with canonical code as a stable tie-breaker; displayed distances round to one decimal place. The starting point is the airport coordinate, not a city center, hotel or terminal entrance. A nearby record can be absent because it is outside this directory, outside the country or radius, or fails the publication rules.
Geographic proximity does not establish driving time, public access, customs availability, landing permission, parking or aircraft performance. A short runway or private/military facility can still appear as a reference record. The licensed direct carrier must confirm suitability for the actual mission. If no candidate qualifies, the page retains its source and citation without inventing alternatives.
What is in the CSV
- Airport and location
- Airport name, country and region from the directory, with reviewed public-name changes where applicable.
- Identifiers
- Display code, verified ICAO when known, and governed IATA when known. A blank means no verified value in this export; local or GPS codes are not relabeled as ICAO.
- Coordinates
- Reference latitude and longitude in decimal degrees from the exact OurAirports source record.
- Elevation and runway
- Field elevation and longest published open runway in feet from the source snapshot. These are not declared landing distances, performance calculations or operating approvals.
- Provenance
- The original source ident and source-record URL, plus the stable Jet Partners airport guide URL. Public identifiers may differ from the historical source ident.
Citing and checking a reference
For a specific airport, open its guide and use “Cite this airport guide” below the comparison. Cite the original data source for source facts and Jet Partners when referencing this comparison or guide. Include the page URL and your access date. Editorial citations are optional; no link exchange or attribution requirement is attached to the source data.
